Our Process

Your Bouquet's Journey

From the moment your flowers arrive at our St. Louis studio, they're in the hands of trained professionals. Here's exactly what happens — and how we'll keep you updated every step of the way.

Preservation Process Steps

Placing your preservation order
01

Place Your Order

Choose your keepsake style and secure your spot. You'll receive a confirmation email with next steps for shipping your bouquet.

Shipping your bouquet in a Bloom Box
02

Ship or Drop Off Your Blooms

Send your bouquet to our studio using our Bloom Box™, overnight label, or your own materials — or, if you're in the St. Louis area, drop it off in person. The sooner your flowers arrive, the better the preservation.

Bouquet arrival and intake at our studio
03

Arrival & Intake

When your bouquet arrives, we photograph it, assess its condition, and begin preparing it for preservation. You'll receive an email confirmation.

Flowers drying in silica sand
04

Drying

Your flowers are carefully placed in silica sand to dry for approximately 28 days. This preserves their shape and prepares them for casting.

Designing and casting flowers in resin
05

Design & Casting

Our designers arrange your dried flowers in your chosen keepsake style, then carefully cast them in our proprietary PetalSafe™ resin.

Resin curing and finishing process
06

Curing & Finishing

The resin cures slowly to ensure clarity and durability. Once cured, we sand, polish, and inspect every surface for a flawless finish.

Quality check and packaging
07

Quality Check & Shipping

Every piece goes through a final quality inspection before being carefully packaged and shipped to your door.

Timeline

What to Expect

Our average turnaround is approximately 12–15 weeks from the time we receive your flowers. Here's the general breakdown:

~28 days Drying
~3–5 weeks Casting Queue
~3–4 weeks Design, Casting & Curing
~1–2 weeks Finishing & Quality Check

A note on busy seasons: Once your flowers are dried and prepped, they wait in our casting queue and are cast in the order received. During peak wedding season (spring and fall), that queue is longer and our turnaround may extend. We'll always keep you updated on your order's progress.

We take our time to make sure each piece meets our standards. If achieving the quality you deserve takes a little longer, that's what we'll do. Your keepsake is meant to last generations — we won't rush it.
